MIGHT OF COINCIDENCE Announcing The Birth Of... (Entropia) RARE Original Pokora EX+
Very RARE original Swiss first pressing of "Announcing The Birth Of…", also known as "Why Couldn`t People Wait", released on Entropia Records (1971).
Only ever available in a limited edition of 1`500, this highly collectable record features the obscure Swiss acid-folk group (The Birth Of) Might Of Coincidence. With its acoustic washes of guitar, carefree flutes and harmony vocals, Might Of Coincidence is vaguely reminiscent of Amon Düül I ("Disaster") or early Incredible String Band, but without any of the latter`s virtuosity.
Musically seldom more than competent, "Announcing The Birth Of…" is nonetheless a massively sought-after album, most probably due to endorsement by the likes of Hans Pokora and similar collectors-in-the-know.
GRADING:
EX COVER. The cover has a fair amount of general wear, with partial laminate lift along the front spine and a few creases to the edges. Please see photos for details.
EX+ RECORD in very passable condition. Apart from some light sporadic crackle, mostly between tracks and minimal general hairlining, this is a very well looked-after copy of "Announcing The Birth Of Might Of Coincidence". The record labels show some light spindle wear.
