All are superficial and don't affect sound.
Both labels are clean with no writings.
Conservative grading.

Cover Condition:

EXCELLENT
Moderate wear more intense on borders.
Tiny rip at open border.
No open seams, no pen marks, no stickers, no writings.
Conservative grading.

Hard to find original uruguayan long playing pressing in EX- condition.

1st effort by the Uruguayan well reputed keyboardist, composer & arranger Mike Dogliotti.

Musically this record shows a combination of a powerful rhythmic basis performed by a string of tamboriles which are the main instruments applied to the Afro-Uruguayan sounds and Dogliotti’s great keyboards job (Hammond & Fender Rhodes).
No other electric instruments appear on this recording.

There has been a clever selection of tracks that includes fine examples of Uruguayan popular classics.

Dogliotti’s job in this record is just as magnificent as it is in all his recordings and the rhythmic basis reaches really wild moments.

If we have to compare the present album with his perhaps more widely known one, which is Candombe Liso, we will find out that this one maybe rawer or more primitive, as it actually lacks the arrangements and effects of electric instruments.
Even though, this is undoubtedly one of the best samples of contemporary Afro-Uruguayan music.
