1979 UK original LP radio show recorded live at Wembley in London.
The CN number is 3393/S. The "In Concert" numbers are 206 on one side and 207 on the other. The labels read "Side 1" on each side. The matrix numbers are 145473 (206) and 145475 (207).
"Incantations" is on the 206 side and "Tubular Bells" is on the 207 side. The song titles are written on the labels. The time length of each side is listed as 25:40 for 206 and 28:41 for 207.
Slight edge warp, not affecting play. Includes generic BBC sleeve with writing on it. No cue sheets.
Some Very Important Notes About This Record:
As near as we can determine this is most likely one record of a two record set. According to historical BBC Transcription Service information, the full length of 206 and 207 is approximately one hour each yet they are clearly listed as only about half that length on each side of the record we offer here. Therefore, because each song was too long to fit on one side of a record, the first half of each song was put on each side of this record and the second half of each song was put on each side of another record. This was done to allow radio DJs to transition between the ends of the first halves of the songs into the beginnings of the second halves by mixing from one turntable with the first record on it to another turntable with the second record on it. [Note: on this record the 206 side ends with music (smoothly, not abruptly) and the 207 side ends with faded applause.]
We are offering this single record for sale anyway because it is rare in and of itself and because we have no knowledge of both records being sold together in the recent past.
