Description
MIKE OLDFIELD - "AMAROK"
Virgin (V 2640), LP
UK pressing, 1990
complete with printed inner sleeve
for track-listing details, please see picture(s) above.
Cover is nice and clean (EX+), has original HMV price sticker in top right corner. Record is EX/EX+ - it is from my own collection and has only been played once or twice ever. There are a few very light 'hairlines' but these are minimal and are purely from storage in the card inner over the years. All in all a very decent copy that you can be sure hasn't been passed from collector to collector over the last 30 years.
Cover, labels etc. are as seen in the pictures above (actual item shown) - see below for record grading.
Records are graded visually under a bright halogen bulb, they are NOT play-tested unless stated above.
PLEASE NOTE THAT DURING THIS VIRUS OUTBREAK I WILL NOT BE VISITING THE POST OFFICE, AND THEREFORE LARGER ITEMS THAT CANNOT FIT INTO A POST BOX WILL BE SENT VIA COURIER (HERMES OR DHL) AND ONLY BY HOME COLLECTION. I PLAN TO HAVE COLLECTIONS AT LEAST 3 TIMES A WEEK AND THE COURIERS SAY THAT THEY AIM TO DELIVER WITHIN 3-4 WORKING DAYS AFTER COLLECTING THE ITEM, SO THE OVERALL DELIVERY TIME SHOULD NOT BE TOO MUCH MORE THAN IF SENT BY ROYAL MAIL 2ND CLASS. HOWEVER, PLEASE BE AWARE OF THESE TEMPORARY CHANGES BEFORE BIDDING. OVERSEAS BUYERS PLEASE GET IN TOUCH FOR A QUOTE BUT BE AWARE THAT THIS WILL BE SIGNIFICANTLY MORE EXPENSIVE THAN ROYAL MAIL.
THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.
UK POSTAGE & PACKING - £4.50 by Courier 'Signed For'.
Please note that if your item (or if the combined values of the items in a single parcel) is £20.00 or above, then insurance is compulsory whether in the UK (must go 'Singed For') or abroad and the cost of this is to be met by the buyer.
Happy to combine postage where practical ... any questions? Get in touch!
VINYL GRADING
NEW: note that still sealed items will be presumed to be in 'new' condition, but are obviously sold as seen. Any visible signs of wear/storage etc. beneath the shrinkwrap will be mentioned.
MINT: note please note that I will NEVER use the 'MINT' grade, as I think you are asking for trouble! The highest grade for an item that is not new will use will be NM (Near Mint).
NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in very close to 'as new' condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in almost perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played a number of times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and maybe some occasional light scratches. If there is any surface noise it will be occasional, light and unobtrusive. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has obviously been played a lot and while it still plays through OK, it will have a lot of surface marks and/or light scratches (maybe also the occasional 'feelable' scratch) and most likely there there will be regular and noticeable surface noise. The cover and contents may suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine and/or seam splits, discoloration, etc.
