Description

Mike Oldfield

'Tubular Bells'

Virgin, UK, 1973

V2001

EASY ALBUM to find...but not in super mint virtually unplayed shape on the very 1st pressed black and white two virgins label.

This album was Richard Branson's ticket  to the big time - having allowed Oldfield to record during downtime at the Manor Studio in Oxfordshire. Nice appearance by chief loon Viv Stanshall doing the spoken word introductions and drums by Steve Broughton of the Edgar Broughton Band.

Pressing: Virgin, UK, 1973 - two virgins black and white label

Vinyl: Beautiful clean condition - only light signs of any use. Grades as MINT-!

Cover: No signs of use. Issued in a superbly illustrated first press laminated cover. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends and no creases. No signs of handling whatsoever. Beautiful and impossible to find like this 41 years after release. Grades as MINT!

Inserts: None

Matrix:

Side One: V2001 - A - 2 - U

Side Two: V2001 - B - 3 - U
