MEGA RARE MIKE OLDFIELD: The Songs of Distant Earth Genuine ORG 1st Press EX++/M

Welcome to my listings. All records I am selling are from my own collection built up over many decades and are a variety of UK and foreign pressings.

All items are packed and dispatched in heavy duty LP mailers with cardboard reinforcements. I use heavy duty packaging tape. I always separate the LP from the sleeve and any inner sleeves that are part of the LP. This stops any damage to the item while in transit.

MIKE OLDFIELD: The Songs Of Distant Earth MEGA Rare and very Scarce becoming increasingly harder to find genuine Original 1994 German 17-track LP based on Arthur C. Clarke's science fiction novel, great cosmic picture sleeve. A remarkable copy of this legendary 'lost' 90's vinyl album! in Awesome condition.

Very Rare genuine 1st Pressing, believed to be less than a 1000 pressed. This is not a reissue

NOT PLAY GRADED: VISUAL GRADING ONLY 

Please note that this is a used item and there is always isolated static, ticks, light pops that maybe or can be heard, even in the quieter places during the play of any vinyl. There will be elements of surface noise. Please remember that this is an Original 31 year old item.

I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable/system - Cartridge and stylus profile, tracking weight, Arm VTA, arm type all go to make a difference to the sound and performance of any LP/single being played. 

THE COVER: The semi glossy one sided opening sleeve shows very light minimal wear to the bottom edge and spine. The spine and top edge text remains clearly visible and readable, there is minimal light visible creasing to the lower left corner. The surface remains free from any major storage scuffing. The opening edges are still crisp with no damage or fethering. All 4 corners are in perfect condition showing no creasing or wear. There are no signs of any other forms of damage. I have graded the cover in EXCELLENT++ condition.

THE BACK COVER: The back cover remains as the front. No other signs of any damage are visible. I have graded the back cover again in EXCELLENT++ condition.

THE INNER SLEEVE: White poly-lined inner

THE VINYL: Both sides of this vinyl still retains all of its original lustre and sheen with no dulling and in daylight look awesome. Placed under a 100w bulb there are NO hairline OR surface marks to both sides. I have graded the vinyl in MINT condition.

Side 1 in MINT condition. Side 2 in MINT condition.
