For yr Christmastime perusal I offer a traditional No Reserve auction. Listing approx. 25 titles from my personal collection.
Personal detail:
I am orig. owner of each title, purchased when I was an undergrad at Indiana University at Bloomington, 1991-95. I worked at the student radio station, WIUS, eventually becoming Program Director at the height of the influence of college radio, and was also an avid record collector. All that is on offer has been stored in corrugated cardboard LP boxes for 30 years, and stored in a furnished and climate-controlled basement. Titles have not been handled or played on a turntable since I graduated in May, 1995. Time to let 'em go. I took excellent care of the disks and sleeves when new, and always played them on a well-regulated turntable. No 'party records' here. I did not live in a frat house. Always stored upright in corrugated cardboard LP boxes after each audition.
Goldmine magazine standard grading, as follows:
M- VG++ VG+ VG G WBR (wrecked but rare)
This is the Mike Watt solo, Ball-hog or Tugboat?, issued on Columbia in spring 1995. Catalog no. is 7464-66464-1. This edition is pressed on blue vinyl. Both inner sleeves are custom and in color. Also included is what is surely the only extant clipping of the full-page album 'CD review' from the Indiana Daily Student edition dated March 8, 1995.
Jacket is a gatefold and is graded VG++ solely on account of a corner which is factory-clipped, denoting a not-for-sale promotional copy (I received this LP at the radio station before release day). No rub wear. No split seams. Disks are in M- condition, and were mastered by John Golden at Golden Mastering. See pic.
