THE MIKE WESTBROOK CONCERT BAND : ' MIKE WESTBROOK'S LOVE SONGS ' (DERAM SML 1069, stereo 1970). Original LP in picture sleeve and orig. inner sleeve ("blue" Stereo) in absolutely IMMACULATE condition! > Sorry, I'm afraid my darkish snapshots won't do justice to the cond. (still on learning curve with digital camera - too bright with flash!) , but the record is EX>NEAR MINT, sleeve is EX- with just V. minor print fades in the 'black'/charcoal grey really! on the back of sleeve (ie it's an older-style papery back & glossy front > but this slight "fading" of the black print was probably there from the day it came off the presses!*) an orig. pencilled price on rear slv. showing this album cost 45 shillings in 1970! The latest Record Collector Price Guide Book rates this as touching the magical CENTURY mark for a MINT cond. copy & this one's surely about as near as you'll get to finding in "mythical" perfect playing order after 34 years - unless a cache of unopened boxes is discovered in the Decca vaults! NB: If you get this i'd recommend registered postage as a minimum, the cost below is for basic 2nd class delivery (with lots of card pkg. mind) & Recorded (65p extra) would only cover up to £27/28 compensation for buyer & seller combined....
