Johann Sebastian Bach: Sonata for violin solo No. 2 a-moll BWV 1003; Partita for violin solo No. 3 E-dur BWV 1006. Performed by Mikhail Fikhtengolts, early 1960s.
Melodiya D 019155-6. Only mono issue. USSR, 1965, 1st pressing.
VISUALLY BOTH SIDES IS VG+, NO SCRATCHES OR EVEN HAIRLINES, BUT QUITE A LOT OF STORAGE MARKS AND SCUFFS, SEE PICS. MINIMAL SPINDLE WEAR ON LABELS. BOTH SIDES PLAYS AS EX COPY WITH MIDDLE LEVEL OF BACKGROUND SURFACE NOISE WHICH IS VERY TYPICAL FOR MID-1960S MELODIYA MONO PRESSINGS, ALSO THERE'RE TWO CONSECUTIVE MINOR CLICKS IN PLAYBACK OF MENUETTO II, BWV 1006 (SIDE 2), NO OTHER ISSUES. VIOLIN SOUND IS ON TOP AND FREE OF ANY DISTORSION. FULLY PLAY-TESTED
GENERIC SLEEVE IS G, SOFTY AND QUITE WORN, SEE PICS.
NM (= M-): Near Mint: album has been played with no visible signs of wear or damage.
VG++ (= EX): Still very shiny, album has light signs of wear: a couple of inaudible light scuffs and/or light scratches.
VG+ : Some more wear, light scratches and/or scuffs: album plays with minimal surfacenoise = occasional light crackle, but still very enjoyable.
VG : Scratches and scuffs. Album plays with some more surfacenoise (light crackle and/or or occasional pops, but no skipped or repeat grooves).
