Condizioni : la copertina apribile (vedi il suo interno nella fotografia n° 2) mostra un lieve ring wear su entrambi i laminati lati esterni e un pò di logoramento lungo i bordi. Nella parte inferiore del retro con la bella foto di Liz Taylor in b/n, sono visibili alcune tracce lasciate dalla rimozione di un nastro adesivo; grande stato, EX / vinile con pochi segnetti che non condizionano minimamente il perfetto ascolto; grande stato, EX+

Condition : gatefold sleeve (see its inside in the photograph No. 2) shows a slight ring wear on both laminated outer sides and some edge wear. At the bottom of the back with the nice picture of Liz Taylor in b/w, we can see some traces left by the removal of an adhesive tape, EX / vinyl has a few tiny surface marks which do not affect in any way the perfect listening, EX+

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartidge. I listen EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : la bella serie Tedesca di 33 giri della M.G.M. e United Artists comprendente alcune colonne sonore con copertine tutte apribili e completamente differenti da quelle pubblicate nei Paesi d'origine del film come "Il Buio Oltre la Siepe", "Irma la Dolce", "Il Coltello nella Piega".... include anche questa magnifica colonna sonora di Miklos Rozsa. Le sue magie sinfoniche permettono all'ascoltatore di capire il film ancor prima di averlo visto. Le musiche riflettono perfettamente gli stati d'animo dei personaggi e delle situazioni che si avvicendano in un grande aereoporto con gente che viene e che va, con avvenimenti non troppo dissimili a quelli di "Grand Hotel" del 1932. Temi malinconici, sentimentali e drammatici si alternano magnificamente. 

Notes : the German beautiful record series by M.G.M. and United Artists including some soundtracks, all with gatefold sleeves and graphically completely different from those released in the origin nations of films such as "To Kill a Mockingbird", "Irma la Douce", "Five Miles to Midnight" .... also features this magnificent soundtrack by Miklos Rozsa. His symphonic magics allow the listener to understand the film even before seeing it. The music perfectly reflect the moods of the characters and situations occuring in a big airport with people coming in and going out, not too dissimilar to the events in "Grand Hotel" of 1932. Melancholic, sentimental and dramatic themes alternate beautifully.
