MILES DAVIS "VOLUME 1" LP - On Blue Note Records, #1501.  Extremely rare vintage jazz Lp!  MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63RD NYC address on the labels.  The label is DEEP GROOVE with the "EAR" and RVG stamp in the trail-off on both sides.  Thick vinyl, thick cardboard cover.  The personnel:  Miles Davis/trumpet; Jackie McLean/alto sax; Jay Jay Johnson/trombone; Jimmy Heath/tenor sax; Gil Coggins/piano; Oscar Pettiford or Percy Heath/bass; Art Blakey or Kenny Clarke/drums.  The thick cardboard cover is in VG+/VG++ shape, displays nicely.  NO seam splits, NO writing, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  Address on back cover is 43 West 61st St., New York 23.  The vinyl is in EX+ condition (beautiful gloss) with just a few light scuffs or needle marks.  Plays great!!  The songs are:  Tempus Fugit; Kelo; Enigma; Ray's Idea; How Deep Is The Ocean; C.T.A. (Alternate Master); Dear Old Stockholm; Chance It; Yesterdays; Donna (Alternate Master); C.T.A.; Would'n You (Alternate Master).
