HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL GATEFOLD SLEEVE “Interpak II by Shorewood Packaging Co. Ltd., England”
The 2LP set is compiled of previously unreleased outtakes from sessions recorded over fifteen years of Davis's career.
"Two Bass Hit" is from a 1955 session.
"Love for Sale"features the same lineup that would play on most of Kind of Blue.
"Blues No. 2" comes from the last session that Davis and John Coltrane would record together in 1961, although Coltrane does not play on the track.
The title track, "Circle in the Round," is the first studio recording in which he departed from the acoustic quintet, and therefore marks the inception of his "electric" period.
"Teo's Bag","Side Car", "Splash", and "Sanctuary" come from two sessions in early 1968.
"Guinnevere" is from an "electric" sessions of early 1970, with sitar and tabla.

An immaculate set of labels - Record One has never been played - the spindle hole is still very tight. Record Two looks once played with one spindle trace per side
VINYL Visual: NEAR MINT
All four surfaces surfaces shine like new
VINYL Audio: NEAR MINT
Beautifully clean sound throughout - fantastic set - the title track is a STUNNING piece of work - very, very highly recommended indeed
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT
Apart from a dull mark on the front from the original large round label the cover is crisp and sharp with no wear to speak of - all spine text is clear and bold
