Description

 Condition/Description:

  • MILES DAVIS Quintet   -  "Cookin' With"  (PRESTIGE 7094, W 50th St label, dp grv, RVG in trail-off, 1957) in VG++(cvr)/VG/VG+ condition.

    • Condition/Description: Decent copy of this much sought after 1957 Bop essential by the Miles Davis Quintet on the W. 50th St Prestige label (please see all 3 photos below). The cover is in solid VG++ condition, with a little bit of front and back soiling and rub wear.  The record falls somewhere between VG and VG+, with nice sheen but a few scuffs and two small scratches that cause clicks during part of the bass solo in 'Blues by Five' and in a few spots on "Tune Up".   Otherwise, the rest of the record looks and plays a very nice VG+ or better.  This all-star session has JOHN COLTRANE on tenor, Red Garland on piano, Paul Chambers on Bass and Philly Joe Jones on drums.  Thanks for looking and good luck!

  • Shipping information:  $5.25 priority shipping in the USA, with $11.00 for foreign orders (airmail postage).  Insurance, tracking or package registration is optional  (I will not be held be responsible for uninsured packages).  Foreign orders: must be paid for by PAYPAL or CREDIT CARD only and  within 10 days of the auction close date - absolutely no exceptions (Sorry - I've simply had too many problems receiving funds and have grown tired of transactions lasting 30 days or more).
  • Thanks for bidding and GOOD LUCK!
