This is the highly sought after and long out-of-print boxset Miles Davis Quintet -- The Great Prestige Recordings. Released by Analogue Productions in 1996, this is a 5xLP set which includes the following MD Quintet recordings:--The New Miles Davis Quintet--Cookin'--Relaxin'--Workin'--Steamin'

The set is sealed, never opened, and unplayed. There were two versions of this boxset to be released by AP. The first was a 33rpm 5xLP and the second (in 2008) was a 45rpm 10xLP. Unfortunately, AP used identical boxes for both so there is no way of knowing what is inside unless the box is opened. My best assessment is that this set is the 33rpm (released first and reviewed to sound better) because of the loose plastic bag that it's in (the 45rpm set was shrink-wrapped with an AP sticker) and because the total weight of the set is only 1805 grams. Records for both sets were pressed at 180 grams each. If this was the 45rpm, the records alone without sleeves, booklets, and box would already weigh 1800 grams. Please take a look at the pictures. You can see that a small section of the plastic bag has torn and is taped up but as I said the bag remains unremoved.

I will not accept returns if the bag has been opened. I do not guarantee the condition of the records either as this boxset has never been opened.
