MILES DAVIS QUARTET "VOL. 3" LP - On Blue Note BLP 5040.  Original FIRST PRESS 1954 Mono 10" LP, DEEP GROOVE with the classic Blue & White labels and the 767 Lexington AVE NYC address on both clean labels.  Flat edge with the "ear" engraved in the dead wax of both sides.  Thick vinyl, thick carboard cover.  The sidemen:  HORACE SILVER, PERCY HEATH, ART BLAKEY.  The vinyl is in mostly strong VG+ condition (high sheen).  First track has tiny scratch mark that may sound lightly for several spins.  Disc plays otherwise great with only occasional background crackle.  The cover is in VG+ shape and displays nicely.  Some faint tape stains along edges.  Small # stamped on back.  NO significant seam splits, NO cut-out marks of any kind.  The songs are:  Take-off; It Never Entered My Mind; Well You Needn't; Lazy Susan; Weirdo; The Leap.
