Artist / Title: Miles Davis / Kind Of Blue 

Release Info: Columbia (CL 1355) - 6 Eye Deep Groove Mono pressing. I’m not sure if this is 1959 or 1961 pressing, but I assume 1961 because of the date written on back. 

Matrix info: 

Side 1: XLP47324-1AL(All Machine Stamped) / TA(Stamped) IIII(Etched)

Side 2: XLP47325-1AE(All Machine Stamped) / TC(Stamped) IIII(Etched)

Condition: Vinyl surface is beautiful with nice gloss and is conservatively graded. There are a couple of faint superficial sleeve removal marks. Plays strong with only the occasional light crackling, mostly audible between songs. A professional cleaning would definitely improve sound performance to near mint. The “dead wax” or trail off area is so clean that you can clearly read the matrix info. Cover has some mild age wear. Light corner wear and some wear along the entry side. Spine is fully intact and readable. Seam wear present along the top with a split beginning on the entry side(measuring about 3/4 of an inch). Bottom seam has some wear with a split beginning on the entry side(measuring about 1/4 of an inch). The back cover has some discoloration from age and a name and date written in black pen on top right side. The back of the sleeve has the number 4 on the bottom right indicating the pressing plant this came from(my research shows it was made in Indiana at Imperial Packing Co.) Includes original inner plastic sleeve.
