Miles Davis, "Kind of Blue," on Columbia 6-eye label CS 8163, original deep groove stereo pressing.
Matrix Number Stamp Side 1: XSM47326-1AA
Matrix Number Stamp Side 2: XSM47327-1BB
Errors: Julian "Cannonball" Adderley is misspelled "Adderly" on the cover, and the back has side 2's track listing reversed.
Disc: VG+/VG. It's a very clean, beautiful disc. There is a shallow scratch on side 2 that cannot be felt with a fingernail or heard when playing, but you can see it (I captured it in a photo with the bright flash). There are a few minor fine scratches. They are just visually distracting in an otherwise Excellent disc. I have played the first 5 minutes of each side, there is expected consistent surface noise, not distracting. The music absolutely jumps out of the grooves, beautiful sound. I have not attempted a cleaning, nor have I played the entire disc. Wanted to keep it as fresh as possible for you audiophiles.
Cover: VG, this is a dark cover so the ringwear shows more in the photos than in person. Top and bottom seams are intact. Spine is beginning to flake/split but currently intact. Also beginning of minor age peeling of backing. Some edge and corner wear, but overall a strong cover.
NOTE: No inner sleeve. Will come to you in a plastic outer sleeve for protection.
