Description
1959 mono recording. This is a rare and valuable LP by Miles Davis, titled "Kind of Blue" and released in 1959 on Columbia. The vinyl is black in color and has a 6-eye mono pressing, with a catalogue number of CL 1355. The record grading is Very Good Plus (VG+), and the jacket grading is also Very Good Plus (VG+). The LP features hard bop, jazz instrument, and modal styles, with a speed of 33 RPM and a release title that is a classic in the jazz genre. The record label is Columbia, and the case type is a cardboard sleeve. This LP is a first edition and first pressing, making it a rare find for any collector. Awesome performances by some jazz greats at their best - so much feeling!
I have owned this for a LONG time! I cleaned and play tested the disc and it plays extremely well. with only an occasional barely audible crackle here and there. There is some wear on the jacket and a few light scratches on the disk which don't really show in the photos or affect play significantly. All in all it is da joy to listen to. It has the misprints- Cannonball's name is spelled incorrectly and the order on side 2 is the reverse of what the jacket says. These errors were corrected in the second pressing. 6-eye label. A clear inner and outer protective sleeve are included.
