Description
SUPERB UK MONO 1ST PRESSING - ROUGH TEXTURED LABELS KIND OF BLUE MILES DAVIS 1960 CBS MONO BPG 62066 1L/2L
Overall this is a stunning example of this classic release. It plays absolutely beautifully with effectively no background noise at all. The only flaw is a click in the run-in groove on Side One. If it wasn't for this I would have no hesitation in grading NM as the 150gm heavyweight vinyl with first rough textured labels is in pristine condition.
The labels have 33 as opposed to 331/3 which is what is normal for the first CBS pressings.
The sleeve is in EX condition with some very light creasing and light damage to the bottom right hand corner. There are also timings written in pencil by each track.
I have listened to this album a few times now on a Goldring Lenco GL75 turntable and highly recommend this copy for its clarity and depth of the sound.

The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,
despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc.
The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
