What you are bidding on is a very rare copy of MILES DAVIS: KIND OF BLUE. This is an original deep groove, 50's six eye label, Columbia Records, release from the USA.
About the condition: Whoever owned this record loved side one, and was not careful when playing, hence side one has issues that side two does not. First it plays alll the way through with no problem, but there is a needle drop area and scratch across a good portion (see photo). It does make some noise when it plays through, but does not get too annoying except in a few minutes worth. Still enjoyable, but I wish it was not there. Side two is just the opposite, virtually only played once or twice and plays beautifully. Had side one been like two, the whole package would be VG+. Don't expect it to be mint, it's not. I've been in the record business for over 45 years, and I've only had this once before in the 70's, so it's pretty rare. Would look great framed, and important for any jazz collection. I'll start this low, and it will go for what it will go for.
