MILES DAVIS 1960's pressed Kind of Blue on Orange labels Columbia 1 Eye Uk Stereo SBPG 62066 with Coltrane & Evans. Note the ultra rare picture inner of the one eye era, that advertises six Miles lps, and his name in the radial design, with the sleeve to ESP shown there also. The 2016 rare record guide rates all four early Uk issues, the two fontanas and the columbia mono and stereo as here at £50 each. I am guessing this is because it functions as a cornerstone in the history of modern jazz, and would look nice amongst a collection of the various early issues, this one must be around the 50 year mark by now.
Corners not dinged, no writing, no splits to sleeve. Record is flat and plays fine, about the same as the visual grade of excellent minus, with several little fine marks to both sides, hardly affecting play. Interesting to compare this to the 80s sunset Uk columbia label and the 2016 european pressing in my collection, this is the warmest of the three, and there is a degree of tape deterioration in the newest issue just about detectable under the restoration work.
