MILES DAVIS LIVE IN 1958 featuring JOHN COLTRANE & BILL EVANS - 

What we have here is a very rare french JAZZ BAND RECORDS label release No. EB418 this legendary jazz giants, this was a limited release in 1990 and is very rare and long out of print now. 

Recordings featured are from the radio broadcasts from Cafe Bohemia NYC in August 1958, Birdland NYC in January 1958 and Art Ford Jazz Party TV Show, November 1958. Miles is joined by John Coltrane, Bill Evans, Paul Chambers, Philly Joe Jones for all but the last track where he is joined by Cannoball Adderley, Horace Silver, Red Garland, Barry Miles, Chris Nirobe, Candido and Gerry Mulligan.

The back cover features liner notes by Dough Campbell. Record is in NEAR MINT condition, but really it is MINT, looks unplayed, picture sleeve is NEAR MINT with straight sharp edges and spine, without any blemishes, perpect archive quality copy ! Labels  are perfectly clean, without any spindle marks. Check the photos for details.

Record plays straight and tracks perfect, without any noise, with no distortion, with fine full dynamics and volume, sound quality is very good radio broadcast. This is a must for collectors or music lovers into the fine sound of this historic jazz period and especially jazz lovers.
