MILES DAVIS QUINTET 'RELAXIN' LP ORIGINAL RVG ESQUIRE 1ST UK ISSUE (32-068)

This is a really good copy of this rare and very collectible first UK issue LP from the Miles Davis Quintet. The cover is generally in very good condition apart from some minor laminate peeling and some minor creasing (see photos). The spine is very good but with a couple of small creases whilst the rear of the cover has some very minor ring wear (see photo). There's also a small index sticker (see photo) that I haven't attempted to remove. The label on the A side was a little grubby around the hole so I tried to give it a wipe but it didn't make any difference other than to make the label look worse. The 'staining' you can see in the photo is actually a damp spot from the cleaning which has now dried so it looks much more like the B label again now (see photos) although the original grubby spindle marks are still there immediately around the hole. I'll try and put another photo of the A label up as it is now when I get a chance. The original paper and polythene inner sleeve is included. The vinyl plays really well with only very minimal background noise - just a lovely, clean sound.
I've tried to be ultra-critical in my description but in reality this is an excellent copy of a desirable LP with the very rare early edition cover that's over 50 years old and still in great condition. I'd say the condition of the cover is a conservative VG+ with the vinyl a very conservative VG+ probably closer to near mint. A lovely copy.
