MILES DAVIS 'ROUND ABOUT MIDNIGHT' VINTAGE ORIGINAL 1957 RECORD ALBUM IN STEREO, ON COLUMBIA RECORDS/1957 VINYL LP, 33 1/3 RPM (Miles Davis' first Columbia recording) This 1957 Columbia Records (USA) electronically re-channeled for Stereo 33 1/3 RPM LP vinyl record album by Black American jazz legend and giant Miles Davis, is his first 'stereo' recording on the Columbia music record label. The first pressing was the 'mono' audio version of 'Round About Midnight,' issued earlier in the same year (1957.) He is joined on the album by the Miles Davis Quartet of Miles Davis on trumpet, John Coltrane on tenor saxophone, Red Garland on piano, Paul Cambers on bass and 'Philly Joe' Jones on drums. The card stock color record album is nearly in perfect condition, with nary a mark on it & all 4 of its corners clean and crisp. The vinyl surface is also nearly immaculate, boasting a pristine, nearly mint surface, with no noticeable scratches, smudges, warping or abrasions. It also has its original plain, windowless white paper record sleeve, which fits snugly in the cardboard record jacket. Extraordinarily well-preserved. Near museum quality. Killer.
