For auction is MILES DAVIS' "Someday My Prince Will Come" on Columbia CL 1656, MONO, 1961. "Red Six-Eye Demo"
SOUND: VG/VG+
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Overall, excellent sound quality. The only caveat is the presence of 5 consecutive ticks in A1, "Someday My Prince Will Come." Beyond that, excellent playback throughout, with only a tiny bit of faint surface noise here and there. Overall, an excellent listen!
VINYL: VG+
Visually, the vinyl looks very nice, with faint scuffs either side but nothing that appears beyond superficial. The labels are red 6-eye, with factory-applied "demonstration" stamps. Labels look like new.
JACKET: VG
There is slight fraying and splitting on top and bottom edges. Spine is solid. Corners have a little wear. Front and back covers are clean, with "J" in red marker on front top left corner, and a red "deme" stamp on the back.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
