MILES DAVIS, The New Miles Davis Quartet; Prestige PRLP 7014 (trail off deadwax PRLP 7014 A-2/PRLP 7014 B, RVG both sides), 1956 Bergenfield, NJ Deep Groove Yellow Label issue. Mono. Miles on trumpet with John Coltrane, tenor sax; Red Garland, piano; Paul Chambers, bass and 'Philly' Joe Jones, drums.  Great record!  Vinyl is VG+, clean and shiny w/original glossy sheen, with a few very light marks and light sleeve wear.  Plays EX, with that dynamic Van Gelder sound, perhaps with light surface noise in places. On "S'posin" when Miles begins his final solo I hear a light pop for two revolutions only.  Deep Groove Labels are clean, no marks, near perfect.  Jacket is VG+, front cover clean, shiny w/little wear; back jacket w/ light discoloration and 2"X1/2" stamp upper left under issue number (does not obscure any graphics).  Light wear spine corners, 1&1/2" split top jacket at opening.  Rare find.  Very decent copy!    Spirit of Sound Records, a one of a kind, independent Vinyl LP shop, located in Camden, Maine, is the area's newest and only record shop, featuring new and vintage vinyl from all genres, meticulously cleaned and graded (I scrutinize each LP under a halogen lamp) for customer satisfaction. Our grading system is essentially the same as in Goldmine with one exception.  We use EX (in lieu of VG++) for vinyl that is between VG+ and just this side of Mint-.  
Spirit of Sound ships, in good faith, via USPS.  We combine shipping for multiple purchases.  To insure customer satisfaction, we will include delivery confirmation (with tracking number) on all domestic orders, thus the modest shipping/handling increase.  We encourage our international buyers to include insurance and delivery confirmation when choosing a shipping option.   Barring this choice, we will ship in good faith at buyers risk.
