You are bidding on an EXTREMELY RARE! 1956 ORIGINAL ATLANTIC RECORD 1242  W/BLACK LABEL & SILVER PRINT titled Ballads & Blues featuring Milt Jackson on Vibes with 3 different groups: with Lucky Thompson on Tenor Saxophone, John Lewis on Piano, Skeeter Best on Guitar, Oscar Pettiford on Bass and Kenny Clarke on Drums in one group; with Barney Kessel on Guitar, Percy Heath on Bass and Lawrence Marable on Drums in another group: and with John Lewis on Piano, Barry Galbraith on Guitar, Oscar Pettiford on Bass and Kenny Clarke on Drums and Five Woodwinds and Arranged by Ralph Burns.  The Vinyl is NM! with some surface marks that do not sound and the record cover is NM! with glossy cover and tight corners and initials over catalog number on back cover in light green ink.  I HAVE LISTENED TO BOTH SIDES OF THE RECORD AND THE RECORD SOUNDS INCREDIBLE!!!!  WITH SUCH CLARITY!!!  Selections include So In Love, These Foolish Things, Solitude, The Song Is Ended, They Didn't Believe Me, How High The Moon, Gerry's Blues, Hello and Bright Blues.  EXTREMELY RARE AND DIFFICULT RECORD TO FIND IN THIS TRULY WONDERFUL CONDITION!!!  FABULOUS AND CLASSIC JAZZ VIBIST!!!  WITH OUTSTANDING SOLOS!!!  BY JACKSON!!
