All covers, labels and inners have no rips, loosening of glue, handwriting in ink or biro pen.

All records listed are in no less than EX condition (see above for actual grading). In some cases I may list a very rare record at a lesser grading but this will be described in detail. All items are graded conservatively according to Record Collectors Grading System Record Collectors Grading system (outlined at end of listing)

Brief description of item

The original very RARE Milt Jackson BLUE NOTE BN 1509 from 1956...This is/has also a misprinted label title "MYSTERIOSO" rather than MISTERIOSO.

VERY, VERY NICE COPY!! Has a great and smart damage free cover, no handwritten names, ripping or tearing, no splits or damp. Spine is intact and ALL text is fully legible. Has a MECOLICO stamp on the back of the jacket. Note - this is an MCPS (Mechanical copyright protection society) sticker. Best advised non removable. These were affixed to release's way before bar codes were invented. The back of this cover also bold and still looking very clean and age free. only some very slight corner wear in some places, that's being extreme on my part of this description.  

The original inner sleeve is also present in excellent shape, with no splits and only small signs of paper age here or there. I also provide an extra (which the actual record itself is stored within) this will be included in the postage to prevent split.

The labels are in excellent shape all text is fully legible and there are hardly any signs of spider lines/spindle wear around them in general. Have 33/3 MICROGOOVE LONG PLAYING around the rims. Only one small smudge on the label on side 1. This is barley noticeable and has not made any impact on the overall appearance. No handwritten names, ripping or tearing of the labels on either side. CLEAN & FRESH! these have also both been checked under harsh white light, as has the actual vinyl itself. Only under these conditions will you see any sign of any prior use.

The actual vinyl sits 100% flat on a turntable or any other surface, and is without any warping. There are no deep scratched marks...Or light scratched marks on the actual disc, a VERY, VERY clean record, with no ingrained dust. Test played = YES!...Happy to state the actual play is as near new as you will ever get...A NEAR MINT audio, clear and dynamic, without any background noise...Not even on the play in wax. No pops, ticks, repetitive ticks, skips backs or jumps. No locked grooves and no distortion or heavy needle wear. Has been played on a quality turntable & with a quality stylus. Inspected under extreme bright white light/halogen bulb...Only under these conditions will you see a couple of thin paper removal hairlines, these do not have any impact on the record itself. And are merely a result of the record being taken out/put back inside the dust inner sleeve.  

This vinyl has barley been played & as a result after decades (remember please from the 1950's) sounds impeccable...I'm very picky about the records I sell. I have 100% feedback/pack extremely well/and deliver super fast!!!! I make sure you get there...What you see here!

Record will be packed in a tough custom box DEFENDAPACK mailer as shown in the photos below. The mailer has a locking tab. The record will be placed outside its cover and inside a brand new polythene protector between two card stiffeners and sealed at the top with fragile marked masking tape. Items are labelled "handle with care".

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler

CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly - inwhich case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD's are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves
