Original Mono First Pressing of this hard to find album, with the address on the record labels reading “767 Lexington Ave NYC”.  The record has the Deep Groove labels and no “R” under the “Note” in Blue Note.  This is also a Flat Edge pressing with “The Ear” and “RVG” in the dead wax on both sides.  The record is thick and heavy weight.  The address on the back cover reads “767 Lexington Ave., New York 21”.

We recently bought this LP from its original owner, who purchased it new.

COVER: The jacket has no seam splitting and no spine splitting.  The paper covering the back is torn down a bit at the top, yet very neat and even.  There is a name stamped on the back and a small piece of old masking tape around the spine.  The cover shows moderate surface wear.  Overall this cover grades VG+.

VINYL: The only things keeping this LP from grading a strong VG+ are two scratches that can be felt on the grooves.  The first scratch measures about 1 inch and is at the beginning of Side 1 and, although thin, it’s pretty deep.  This scratch causes a tick when the needle passes through it.  The second scratch is “V” shaped, smaller, and lighter.  It can only be lightly felt on the grooves and is on part of the first song on Side 2.  Only because of these two scratches are we grading this record VG. We carefully cleaned this LP on a VPI Machine.
