For auction is MILT JACKSON & PERCY HEATH's "Jazz Sur Seine," on Phillips P 77.127 L, MONO, 1958. Original French Pressing.
SOUND: VG/VG+
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Overall, the playback is very nice! The sound is overall quite powerful. There is however, an amount of low-level surface noise throughout -- basically only audible during quiet passages, and not overpowering in any sense. Along with that, occasional random tics, fairly soft. Most cuts have 2 or 3 of them. In about 2 spots, a few louder pops, but only a few. I just want to reiterate that none of this interferes... for my money, this is an awesome listen!
VINYL: VG or better
The vinyl is very nice overall, but there are 3 marks worth mentioning. A long one on side A and 2 short on side B. None of them were feel-able. Beyond this, the vinyl is clean and in pretty good shape. The labels are blue Philips "Minigroove" in very nice condition. Side A label has some pen marks.
JACKET: VG+ or better
The jacket is very thin cardboard, European-style. Solid edges in good shape and fairly nice corners. Front and back very clean, with only minimal routine wear The back has a "promo" stamp.

A very unique and rare record that plays well. No reserve, bidding starts at $25.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
