Unknown artists - minimal synth, new wave DIY post punk.
I've no idea who this is....or if it's a few different artists. It is a great early 80's avant garde, minimal synth, new wave DIY post punk goodness though. This came via a collection of an early 80's distribution house who specialised in new wave small label pressings.
What can I say about the music....well....minimal UK synth on two tracks.....DIY post punk on a couple of tracks. A Bauhaus esque killer track called 55 hours to die. One very odd female vocal track and a track of what sounds like old dialogue. Seriously rare....and seriously good. I would say 81-82. I would also say that it's a private press that tried to get a deal. I can't find any info....the matrix says jam - 39 and orlake...which means that it was pressed at the orlake studio in East London. Jam - 39....doesn't flag up any matches though.
I also have some metal mother stampers from the same batch...stunt kites etc.
Matrices - jam 39 orlake.
Vinyl is vg. Shiny...some surface wear. Plays very well....no jumps or clicks. Plain sleeve. Don't sleep.
