Description

Up for auction is a super clean and rare copy of the debut Minor Threat EP "Out Of Step" released on Dischord Records in 1983.  Rare, early second pressing with $3.50 price printed on cover and the black back cover with song list.  Includes rare insert.  Very scarce.  Condition is exceptional.  Most of these EPs saw a lot of playing time, but not this one.  Cover is in fantastic shape, very white, no yellowing or age discoloration.  No ring wear, which is very common on these matte finish covers.  Seams are strong, no rubbing, chips, or splits.  Corners sharp except lower right that has a slight ding.  Slightest hint of ring wear on black back cover near top center.  Overall, I'd rate the cover Near Mint/Near Mint Minus (NM/NM-). The vinyl is equally beautiful, retaining its original high gloss shine.  Very few signs of previous handling or play.  Exceptionally clean, both sides, no obvious scratches, scuffs, or marks.  Perhaps some very superficial, faint signs of having been taken out of the paper inner sleeve.  One of the nicest copies of this iconographic hardcore release that I've come across in a long time.  I'd grade the vinyl Near Mint (NM).  100% satisfaction guaranteed.  No risk buying.
