Here is a SUPERB vintage Ray Charles Lp album from my collection offered up for sale: His 1959 JAZZ instrumental album featuring Ray's friend & band member David "Fathead" Newman on tenor & alto saxophone. Piano backing by Ray Charles with Edgar Willis on bass, Bernie Crawford on baritone sax and Milton Turner on drums., Great jams as the band really cuts loose on these instrumental numbers! "Ray Charles presents David FATHEAD Newman", in very well cared for condition, looks rarely played! Released 1959 on Atlantic Records 1304, this is an original FULL SPECTRUM DYNAMIC FREQUENCY pressing with vintage white fan labels. The record grades NEAR MINT, is glossy and super clean, pristine, looks rarely played, has been PLAY TESTED. Plays great from start to finish with excellent sound quality, clear and quiet, a couple errant light pops to an otherwise VERY QUIET playing record, a very enjoyable listen! The jacket rates EX, is clean and still glossy, has deep color, bright white, no signatures, no cut outs, all edges and corners EX and solid, no splits, no tape, binder edge is EX and readable, has a small signature on the back near top right corner (see photo), minimal signs of handling, has been well cared for!
