Description
Here is a RARE beautiful vintage promotional album my collection offered up for sale: "Great New Releases from the Sound Capitol of the World" album, released March 1964 on Capitol records PRO-2556. This cool promo has a whole side of surf / hot rod classics featuring The Beach Boys, Mr. Gasser & the Weirdos, Dick Dale & Del Tones, Jerry Cole and his Spacemen, the Super Stocks and others! This is an original 1964 pressing, has beautiful colorband labels and heavy vinyl, a very well preserved surf hod rod classic 1st edition rarity.
The vinyl rates near Mint, is quite stunning! glossy and clean, has been PLAY TESTED. Plays excellent from start to finish, a very enjoyable listen! The original blue Capitol picture inner sleeve is excellent!.
The cover rates strong VG+, has a great front portrait , binder edge EX & readable, no splits, some light yellowing noted at binder edge of rear cover, no signatures or writing, very decent & collectable 57 year old cover! (see all photos)
