BEAUTIFUL CLEAN... 1966 STEREO GARAGE R&B/PUNK COLLECTIBLE CLASSIC!

                ANIMALIZATION

\                                           USA - MGM RECORDS - SE 4384 STEREO

BEAUTIFUL....STILL IN ORIGINAL FACTORY SHRINK WRAPPER and MINTY CLEAN....

1966 Original STEREO  first pressing  vinyl collectible by The Animals with their movin' & groovin' beat rock classic "Animaization" ...the classic album features two solid sides of coolness led by the captivating vocals of Eric Burdon...

Original 1966 MGM inner sleeve is included...

On this album the Animals begin to branch out more into 1966-style hard rock with fuzz guitars and such -- starting to stretch things out a little... on "Cheating", Burdon does some vocal stylings that actually reminds some listeners of Robert Plant.

Animalization contains a track listing somewhat similar to the British album Animalisms. The album reached number 20 on the US Billboard album chart, and includes no less than three US Top 40 singles -- one of which is the timeless garage punk nugget, "Don't Bring Down" with its threatening farfisa organ, bold fuzz guitar and killer Eric Burdon pleading classic vocal delivery... best of the best of the Animals...

It was during this period that drummer John Steel left the group and was replaced by Barry Jenkins, previously of The Nashville Teens (of "Tobacco Road" fame). Both drummers appear on the cover, Jenkins on the front (upper right in brown shirt) and Steel on the back. Definitely one of the top early Animals Lp's, if not their best up to that time period (1966) ....
