STILL IN THE ORIGINAL FACTORY SHRINK WRAPPER perfect MINT

Minty CLEAN Original 1966 first pressing vinyl of the second USA release by the happening sounds of the Spencer Davis Group featuring 17 year old Steve Winwood, who would go on to Traffic & Blind Faith fame... in glorious MONO which offers different song mixes from the stereo issue and contains a big beat punch in the mono production -- really suiting the sound well of the golden age beatboom sixties.

> > Includes the color, printed United Artists original inner sleeve to the pressing

Filled with a mix of R&B, blues & rockers, the USA version is superior to the UK version taking the stronger E.P.s and 45's with the best tracks from the UK 2nd Lp ...Steve Winwood and the band to provide their best tracks to keep them in the league of The Animals & Rolling Stones, top levels of the British Invasion scene. The opening "I'm A Man and "Keep on Running" are heavier with a pounding 'beat'  where the band stretches it out a little and we get a good listen to Winwood at his grittiest -- plus ome kick-ass takes on "Every Little Bit Hurts", "Dimples", and "Searchin'." Certainly this is a worthy album from 1966 that deserves as much attention as anything The Rolling Stones had done up until this time.
