Description
PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us. Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +21,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SHIPPING: USA ~ 1 LP = $4.00 Media Priority rates vary by area; please inquire. - MINT SOLID COLLECTION COPY
- STILL IN FACTORY SHRINK WRAPPER!
Thee original 1967 first pressing of the tough, gritty biker garage cooker led by the fuzz-tone guitar action by Davie Allan ..."Blues Theme" scored a big soundtrack hit when it was included in a cult favorite drive in movie, 'The Wild Angles' ... The whole album's a gas with fuzz guitar rockers all over the place -- and because it is the greatest motorcycle riding song anyone has ever produced! The kick-start Harley starting up and revving into the introduction, then blasting past you a couple times as you experience the fuzzed-up guitar riffs that will put you on an imaginery Harley of your own!
Davie Allan was an innovator as well as a gifted guitar genius whose fusings of melody into an effortless outpouring of countless fuzz guitar-directed anthems, many of which graced many notorious American biker/drug exploitation films of the sixties, Allan was backed by a three-piece group who performed as Davie Allan & The Arrows from 1965 to 1968. Allan’s incredible guitar jams were like a monoxide-mainlining version of The Ventures if they encompassed everything from psychedelia to slash and burn surf running amok to the gentlest of melodic themes. As one would guess by their titles, “King Fuzz” and “Fuzz Theme” have even more fuzztone use per square second than The Electric Prunes’ first three albums, and they’re total gaga grooves complete with Allan’s trademark disorientating ‘speed tremolo’; a technique he developed which bent the pitch of fuzz-played chords into oblivion. “William Tell 1967” isn’t exactly as fast as the version of “The William Tell Overture” that graced the soundtrack of “A Clockwork Orange” but it’s certainly fast enough to dispel all thoughts of the Lone Ranger forever AND it’s a rendition of the trippiest levity. The cover of “Theme From Thunderball” is about as sensual as a guitar instrumental can be: graceful, lithe and rhythmically smooth as the lines of a woman’s figure outlined in zero gravity silk. But even when Allan turns his Mosrite Fuzzrite fuzz pedal almost imperceptibly down for the lightly fuzzed pop approach on the sub-“96 Tears” jams of “Sorry ‘Bout That” it still maintains that undeniable presence of total class which Davie Allan, a true gentleman and guitarist, has always displayed in abundance.
