RARE original 1968 first pressing ***STILL IN ORIGINAL FACTORY SHRINK WRAPPER and...MINT

One of the harder to find of the old GOLD Elektra releases ... We don’t know where David Stoughton came from and don’t know where he’s gone, but he certainly made one weird and arty psychedelic record for Elektra records back in 1968..As usual, with this type of underground record record, it is not available on CD and is unlikely to appear in that form any time soon -- in spite of requests by collectors. The only chence for the music is to try and track down the original album, not easy. Late summer acid folk at its finest!

This album was way ahead of its time (in 1968) ...Very impressive experimental, acid folk album from this one-off artist. David's guitar work is striking, and the songs where vocals occur are quite well done. We have equal parts male vocal, female vocal and instrumental throughout the lp on different tracks... some Tim Buckley similarities and feel in both vocals and music... female vocalist with an early Curved Air (Sonja Kristina) style... some mind-blowing spoken word and tape experimentation (maybe the coolest stuff aside from Velvet Underground's "Murder Mystery").

... You very well may find youself find myself pulling this one out regularly. Nice.

CONDITION: The cover: Strong and stiff, it's MINT still in the factory shrink wrapper ...only a small delete drill at bottom left, otherwise very crisp & clean with no split seams or problems...the small original store sticker is still on the outside of the shrink wrapper ...hard to find, especially this clean.

The Record: both sides are clean and clear M- with clean gold Elektra labels ...looks smooth and clear as a TOP copy....
