MINTY TOP COPY, 1970 first pressing in thick gatefold cover, the 2-Lp set is essential to DOORS fans & collectors as it contains radically different versions of the studio album tunes as well as material not available on those albums...

                                        HARD TO FIND THIS CLEAN!

Absolutely Live is the first live album released by The Doors in 1970. Many shows were recorded during the 1970 tour to create the "Absolutely Live" album. The Doors producer, and long time collaborator Paul Rothchild painstakingly edited the album from many different shows to create one cohesive concert in trying to create "the ultimate concert". When it comes to Identifying which song came from which show, it becomes very difficult. Rothchild has said "I couldn't get complete takes of a lot of songs, so sometimes I'd cut from Detroit to Philadelphia. There must be 2,000 edits on that album"  Ride  the way with Jim Morrison and this realistic sound-scape from beyond... anything THE DOORS touch turns to gold. The doors, they sound better live!
