PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! SCARCE 1970 ORIGINAL
"KRAUT-ROCK" IN MINT CONDITION!
TANNED LEATHER
Child Of Never Ending Love
GERMAN - HARVEST - C- 62 29440
=MINT=
SCARCE, sought, 1972 Original first pressing in eye-striking laminated unipack gatefold. Tanned Leather, an underground "Krautrock" band managed two albums in the early '70s, their first “Child Of Never Ending Love” was also their best.
This was a music project based in Munich and led by keyboardist RAINER PIETSCH. “Child Of Never Ending Love” (1972) was an ambitious adult oriented rock/prog album that came in a fold-out cover with a eye-catching, lavish drawing of angelic children - every bit as produced on the artwork used for the British Harvest label acts of the early '70s! TANNED LEATHER indeed comprised three Germans and three Englishmen. The album is a finely crafted production of quality rock structures with progressive rock edges. Often the tracks are complimented by enriched vocal harmonies mixing with double guitars and keyboard instrumentations. It would seem as if TANNED LEATHER made a deliberate attempt to zone in on the less harsh British acts that were on the Harvest label, while still retaining memorable melodies in their original material. In fact, TANNED LEATHER did sound English. Again, their soft and vibrant music is very accessible and catchy, enhanced by their flowing smooth lyrical tones, guitar & organ structures ...somewhat the outcome of the LP is similarly like their British counterparts Forest or Battered Ornaments Lps. This one is a top copy. Feelin TiredSunshine Lady
