PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! MINT TOP COPY of long long gone color BRAIN vintage '70s collectible in laminated gatefold cover ... the recording of the very first GROBSCHNITT release harkens back some 45 years to the fertile period when Krautrock music was at it's peak. While the group's "Grobschnitt" moniker may not exactly roll off your tongue, translation basically means "ROUGH CUT"
Hysterical laughter, machine gun fire effects, sputtering / whirling flute melodies and loads of turned-on distortion guitar piece passages highlight the brilliantly performed tracks including an unforgettable segment of vocal recitation in a deep voice over stormy soundscapes. This Krautrock masterpiece is a hard, creative, rock symphony of the best kind, mixed about are various sound effects and synthesizers galore! The album represents music on the level with the best-ever "Krautrock" and progressives and is ultimately underestimated and still undiscovered by all too many ....The music and themes here, although in the vein of the prog rock stylings of the day in 1972, were much more dreamy and drew from psychedelic influences rather than classical ones like many prog groups before and to follow. The long tracks offer developing memorable themes driven by amazing and skilled performers while retaining the experimental edge that was lost on subsequent albums and virtually all groups outside the small time frame of 1970 - 1972. The side long 4-part "Sun Trip" delivers an all-out sonic space-rock barrage on your aural system....Key players in the sound are drummer & cosmic/electronic effects wizard "Eroc", lead singer “Wildschwein” and lead guitarist Lupo, not to forget the imagination organ/synth by "Quecksilver" ... Anyone into progressive & psychedelic rock needs to be 'heads up' regarding this LP performance.
