We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.

Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. Those songs, Magic People, It’s Your Mind and Think I Care, are highlighted by distinctive drum patterns, and especially the guitar effects, along with great fuzzed-raga guitar soloing.
The only maybe (?) questionable track on the album is "One Rainy Day," the jaunty good time Lovin’ Spoonful rocker.
The remaining six songs are good to great folk-rockers, that recall the Byrds, Buffalo Springfield and the Beau Brummels. The catchy You and Me feels like a throw back to a 1965 Byrds or Brummels folk-rock sound. Tudor Impressions is excellent, reflective, and abstract, sparkling acoustic guitars and a Beach Boys-like harmony PET SOUNDS pop-rock ending. Black Thank You Package and My Love Hides From Your View have a great outsider feel.
Black Thank You Package has a distinct, exciting intro and a catchy chorus while My Love Hides is an absolute haunting masterpiece of acid-folk.
Thus, it was the beginning of the end for the Paupers, a group of individuals who had began with so much promise. In 1968, beneath all the internal turmoil, the Paupers were able to squeeze one more LP " Ellis Island " a psychedelic gem ...fans are strongly urged to check this great album out as well. - Magic People

The PAUPERS were from Canada and made two good albums with the cool garage fuzz/psych sounds!
......................................................... 1967 MAGIC PEOPLE by the legendary UNDERGROUNDS of the Paupers has a cool mid 60’s sound and is anchored by the band’s rock leanings. There are a trio of good psychedelic sunshine fuzz rockers on this record.
Later on in the year the band would play at the seminal Monterey Pop Festival. Everything that could go wrong for them did. The Magic People PAUPERS took doses of acid that were way too strong and then they had equipment/sound check problems.
CONDITION:
A cool addition to anyone's music library!
