 SUPREMELY MINT ...this is the rare early '70s BRITISH first pressing with rich laminated GATEFOLD cover...a VERY adventurous DEEP SPACE two LP set -- an adventurous creation, if their ever was one, spanning over 4 sides like one long player as the perfect guide to a personal L.S.D.trip

A deep « abstract » universe offered by this electronic, semi-acoustic meditative Largo in four movements. The music is an « organic » & « orgasmic » evocation of the infinite beauty, illustrated by higher world. It touches the heart and the most hidden parts of our subconscious. The continuous sound forms largely used for each part suggests a "catharsis" process, a purification of the spirit. In popular music we've rarely heard a such intense and "cerebral " work. "Zeit" follows the schematic ideas of "Alpha Centauri" but here the instrumentation is entirely focused on "loops", and moving, floating keyboards lines. Only albums by Cluster II, or Klaus Schulze's Irrlicht can equal this one in term of "introspective" achievement.
Unbelievable stuff. This was the album that premiered Peter Baumann to the fold, who would stick with the band until 1977. Unfolding within are 4 sides of highly spacey acid-progressives drenched in electronic effects, each piece lasting 17-22 minutes.

 "Birth of Liquid Pledges" starts off with a sinister sounding atmosphere - very creepy otherworldly vibe hovering above the proceedings and helped along with strange electronic manipulation of cellos. Eventually the cellos disappears, and an early Moog synthesizer kicks in (by Florian Fricke, of POPOL VUH, who was a guest here). This seems to be one of Fricke's last recording with the Moog, before he turned to playing strictly keyboards. Anyway as the track moves it becomes very trippy, with PINK FLOYD like organ. The next piece, "Nebulous Dawn" is strictly electronic effects hovering above and within a cosmic movement. Elsewhere "Origin of Supernatural Probabilities" is mainly a long sinister epic filled with cosmic atmosphere -- again comprised of electronic effects. In reflection the vibe reminds basically like the middle part of PINK FLOYD's "Echoes", but it's actually wind sound effects that enhance the journey to end. There is little doubt this album is like one long LSD trip.
