Description

Here is a fantastically preserved beautiful original 1st press Beatles record album from my collection offered up for sale: The Beatles' debut Capitol album, "Meet The Beatles", released in February 1964 by Capitol Records ST-2047. This is a scarce early STEREO 1st pressing, Most of the 1964 first pressings were sold in the Mono format as stereo record players were still pretty costly at that time. The record buyer also had to shell out an extra dollar for the stereo version.  This has the early press brown letter front cover The rear cover has a "#6" on bottom corner and no George Martin producer credits, has the blue Capitol inner sleeve. The labels have three BMI credits and are in fantastic shape!
The vinyl grades near Mint! Breathtaking!  super clean and super glossy, near pristine looking!. PLAY TESTED, plays excellent from start to finish, has bright deep clear sound!, Outstanding! . A very enjoyable listen!  The original blue printed photo inner sleeve is clean.
The cover rates EX, a breathtaking beauty with a couple minor issues! front slick is clean and crisp with no ring wear, binder edge EX and readable, Both bottom & Top seam are EX & solid, A hint of wear below John where slight bump to corner  where it bowed slightly.  The only notable flaw to report appears to be a faint signature in thin marker at the bottom edge at the record opening. Not terribly distracting with this beautiful jacket. (see all 12 pictures) 
Will be shipped in a plastic sleeve in a record box with tracking. The vinyl will be shipped in it's paper sleeve outside cover to prevent cover splits.
