MINT! PRISTINE!!! Marie McDonald's much sought-after debut "THE BODY SINGS" LP on RCA Victor,1957. Marie McDonald entered the competitive jungles of Hollywood as a rival of intent to Marilyn Monroe. Labelled "The Body" because of her staggeringly awesome physical attributes, Marie released this album to prove she could sing as well. And she could too. This is a splendid album of easy listening jazz-pop. Regretfully, those "jungles" of Hollywood were too much for the spirit of Marie, who took her own life, leaving this album as a major collector's item for its music, but mainly for its exceedingly lovely cover. This cover here is IMMACULATE! MINT as you can get with just a slight trace of a radio station rubber stamp on the back with a catalog number written by it. But believe me, it is so unobtrusive, you will hardly know it is there. The vinyl is PRISTINE and seemingly untouched with a strong glisten! This album even FEELS new!!! By far the best I have seen anywhere at anytime.Listen to the lavish instrumentation while gazing upon the cover's lovely and enagaging lost beauty!
