The mighty MEAT LOAF took his outlandish ''BAT OUT OF HELL'' album to the road for promotional purposes. Just freshly released at time of this recording [1977] - MEAT LOAF delivers a feverish exclusive rendition of his famed album. 'BAT OUT OF HELL' was written  two years prior to release in the mid '70s and while major labels initially thought it was just too much - too extreme, it was producer TODD RUNDGREN [pre NAZZ and solo fame] who was able to convince EPIC records to release the album, much to their later delight.
Completely raw and stripped down, the unpolished impact sound of the BAT OUT OF HELL promotional tour remains an insightful blueprint of the vision the mighty MEAT LOAF created in the mid '70s.
