Description

PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.   OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us.  Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.   Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.  We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback.   We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so.

Best around, the original British copy you've been waiting for
Rare, TOP SOUGHT for obvious reasons, this is the 1972 FIRST pressing, a long time British hard psych masterpiece (54+ years ago) The Tractor album was released on John Peel's Dandelion label and follow up LP to the monster rated "The Way We Live" album which comprised of both of the Tractor members (John Milne and Steve Clayton.)

TRACTOR features two acoustic guitars, however, the better part of the album are more heavier progressive tracks loaded with fuzz guitar outbursts. John Milne plays the the lead guitar and he loves the dirty distortion effects which makes this album a real treat. Milne also plays bass and vocals and Steve Clayton did the drumming, keyboards, bass and flute.

The first track All Ends Up is a beauty which starts with a sound effect similar to a siren but then comes in with a hard driving beat and stays that way for most of the six and a half minutes of the tune with heaps of distortion lead guitar; good thrilling. A great tune!

The 2nd track, Little Girl In Yellow is another nice progressive song which starts with an acoustic intro when then Tractor get into it....  Sudden fuzzed-up guitar soloing amid strong drumming; pretty much the whole album features tracks as described above with the only breathers being tracks 3 and 6 which are nice acoustic psychedelics. Again a nice contrast between the heavy stuff.

    Track 4
Ravenscroft's 13 Bar Boogie is basically hard blues rock and then the second sides first 3 tracks are all in the heavier category developing into the 4th tracks a long Tractor highlight with a running time of 9 minutes called "Make the Journey" = loaded by killer fuzz guitar; accumulating as a fuzz-psych classic
