Where do we start?
I purchased a job lot of metal albums from an original NWOBHM fan who has had them since original purchase.
I’m offering transparency because… this isn’t my area of expertise. That said, I know when I’m looking at something very special.
This lot contains
LP - Ozzy Ozbourne - Blizzard of Ozz LP
This seems to be variant 2 ( with B1 etched on the B side) I believe this is the 1st release with catalogue number being JETLP 234.
The cover has been stored upright on a shelf since original purchase. I would consider this good to very good. It has wear around the edges, as expected but the picture on the front is shiny, they colours have not faded, there is very slight sticker residue (small price label) in the top right corner. Hard ti notice without close examination.
The vinyl is in VG++ to near MINT. I don’t want to list it as near mint because the is is subjective. There are a couple of light surface marks and the record has most likely been played. I’ve not cleaned the record, I’m leaving it exactly as is.
The original printed inlay is still pure white. No discolouration or fading.
Now…
Inside this was a poster. After a lot of research I believe this is a tour poster. It is in mint condition. It’s not been stuck to any walls and looks as if it has been sat inside the album since the day it was acquired.
So that’s what you get. This is a very rare prestigious auction and once it’s gone it’s gone.
I ship with pro packaging and care. It will be sent 1st class signed for. Please allow me a couple 2-3 days to pack and post as I also work often starting at 5am and not getting until after the post offices have shut.
