BEAUTIFUL MINT....Original BRITISH 1970 first pressing in fully laminated cover...superior by far to the US pressing...
The very first Eric Clapton album...It was released in the UK, August of 1970.
"Let it Rain" is the gem, "After Midnight" a big hit as well.... Clapton is so much better when he writes his own material, but its not Clapton without a great bunch of solos within the blues...The album is laid back and kick ass at the same time. The guitar playing just stings on almost every song. A favorite guitar solo of all time comes in after the cascading piano on "Let It Rain." You may not realize on paper, but hearing it may bring to mind that you've never heard any better guitar playing. If not for a couple of just 'pretty good' side two tracks, this album would be an all time classic. As it stands, it is arguably Clapton's best solo album...The '70 British original is a beautiful thing....
