Description
Here is an album from my collection offered up for sale: Southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd's greatest hits style double album "Gold & Platinum", released by MCA2 11008 Stereo. This is a 1979 pressing with blue sky labels and "Masterfonics" in the deadwax, has both lyric inner sleeves. This embossed gatefold cover is still in shrink with old Tower Records sticker, gatefold has never been opened, wow! Music features great songwriting and harmonic guitar work, beautiful piano, 16 hit songs "Gimme Three Steps", "Tuesday's Gone", "Simple Man", "Freebird", "Sweet Home Alabama" and more. Beautiful blue inside and out, hard to find a nicer one than this!
Both of the vinyl grade NEAR MINT, are super clean and glossy, both look pristine and rarely played, have been very well cared for! PLAY TESTED, both play great from start to finish with excellent sound quality! The labels have only a couple spindle marks, near perfect.
The cover rates NEAR MINT, shrink is still attached on all three sides with a couple large tears to the shrink at opening, cover is super clean and bright, seams are excellent and without wear, binder edge is NM and readable, no splits, no tape, no age discoloration, no signatures or writing, has just a couple tiny bumps at opening, has been very well cared for! The custom printed inner sleeves are clean, no splits, no tape. (see all 12 photos)
Will be shipped in a plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with a tracking. The vinyl will be shipped in paper sleeve outside the cover to prevent cover splits.
